Title: First Raid
on Narvik - April 10, 1940 Description: On April 10, 1940, Royal Navy Captain Bernard Warburton-Lee led his 2nd Destroyer flotilla on a daring raid up Vestfjord into Narvik harbor to surprise the German destroyers that had just landed troops into Narvik. This game takes place on a 16-foot long map of the fjord and harbor, and picks up the action just as the flotilla passes Ramnes and makes it's final approach on the harbor. Maybe the Germans will be surprised, maybe not. A fun scenario, with much more maneuvering than usually seen in a naval battle due to close quarters and the raid nature of the fight. 1/2400 WW2 Naval. Players - 6-10 |
